God never intended that a Christian should live his or her life isolated from other Christians.  it's true that many people have been hurt in churches and by other Christians.  however, just because a person is hurt by members of their own family, doesn't mean that all families are bad or that a person should never again have a family.  matter-of-fact, most families do have their times of inner turmoil but still stick together as brothers and sisters.

like all families, God's kids are not without their problems.  in fact, you could say that God has taken in a lot of orphans destined for the junk heap.

that's the good news about our God -- and about our church, open door ministries.  we were all destined for  failure, but because of our God, by sending his son, Jesus Christ, we are now destined for total and complete success.
